The Electronic Music Production beginners course will give the aspiring music producers a great opportunity to strengthen their knowledge on the subject of electronic music production, learning from experienced professionals in the field of music.
In the contemporary web era we are overwhelmed by the daily amount of available information, this makes it difficult to create a basic reference knowledge in the field of electronic music production, making it feel like breaching a path in a thick unknown jungle without any map or tool.As a result a lot of young talents end by giving up, out of frustration, confused and disoriented by the overwhelming amount of knowledge and data.
With the Electronic Music Production course we will give a multitool to our candidates who will help them to breach a path thru this thick jungle of information and rise above the noise floor. We will give an insight to our candidates of how sound actually works, enabling them to switch between different DAWs and PLUG-INs, having the knowledge of what they are actually doing.This approach to sound, will give our candidates the ability to choose when to use specific tools, enabling them to make appropriate choices in the process of electronic music production.

The main DAW that will be used for examples during the course will be Ableton live.The course will be comprehensive of 10 hours will take place on:
Saturday 9 April from 1PM to 6PM
and
Sunday 10 April from 2PM to 7PM,
at the Zamen Expocafè, Zamenhofstraat 150, Amsterdam.
On Sunday starting at 7PM we will have a meet and greet session with instructors and guest artists and a live music performance from one of our partners. A full program of the course will be sent with the payment info once the application form is completed. The EMP beginners course is brought to you in collaboration with:-

In order to get the 100% out of the course, it is recommended to bring with you laptop with an installed demo of Ableton Live.All course examples will be made in Ableton live 9.
The course will be taught in English. The cost of the course (2 days - 10 hours) is of 150 Eur. excl. BTW
